Default Abu Dhabi property

I have not really heard much about buying property in Abu Dhabi, all press seems focused on Dubai at the moment. This is suprising as Abu Dhabi is the capital. Any news on what developments are happening in the capital?

Which Abu Dhabi property would you recommend as a good but not huge investment?
How does the Ghadeer Project seem to you ?

I am also surprised that all media coverage concentrates on Dubai. It is the far flashier city with a lot of attractions. But I guess that Abu Dhabi has a lot to offer and does not have the skyhigh prices of Dubai. I was considering buying property in Abu Dhabi. It appears to be the sounder investment taking into consideration that the whole region will profit from the growth in Dubai.

What are the disadvantages of Abu Dhabi compared to Dubai?

Default Alghadeer by Sorouh

i've heard some pretty good things about the alghadeer development which is a sorouh project. they say there has been lots of interest from dubai and abu dhabi and overseas investors. they had 15,000 registered to buy. the problem though is getting hold of units as it is very difficult and in high demand. the premium will rise at cityscape, i'm trying to buy now if possible.
