The Burj Khalifa, which is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), has long been known as the Burj Dubai before and during its construction. It was later renamed the Burj Khalifa in honor of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of U.A.E.
